Advisory Team Goals

  • Encourage and promote the development of professional advanced collision investigation and highway safety;
  • Promote research and development of programs leading to better technical collision investigations and;
  • Promote the development and dissemination of new knowledge in traffic safety, collision investigation, and reconstruction.

Seminars

M-THIAT promotes its agenda by hosting seminars at no cost to members in the Spring and Fall at various sites throughout Florida. The seminars consist of on-site simulated crash investigations, lecture presentations by experts in collision investigation, and representatives of leading educational institutions involved in crash research, collision investigation, and advanced training.

Membership

Membership in M-THIAT is open to persons engaged in the practice of advanced accident investigation and to those whose interests and professional activities correspond with the purposes of M-THIAT. Included in the membership of the Association are police officers, reconstruction consultants, engineers, attorneys, and forensic examiners.
